The interim Executive Director, Ms. Hellen Malinga Apila participated in the eighth session of the Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development took place from 1st to 5th March 2022. in Kigali Rwanda.  This is an annual regional multi-stakeholder platform that offers space for review and shared learning to advance Agenda 2063 and the 2030 Agenda in Africa. The Forum deliberates and agrees on Africa’s collective input and prepares African countries to effectively participate in the annual sessions of the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) that follows up and reviews the implementation of the 2030 Agenda at the global level. It is a space to assess the level of commitment of the African continent as a whole region and the countries as implementing bodies of the sustainable development goals (SDGs).
